what should a treatment involve

the technical definition of a film treatment: film treatment (or treatment) is a piece of prose, typically the step between scene cards (index cards) and the first draft of a screenplay for a motion picture, television program, or radio play. It is generally longer and more detailed than an outline (or one-page synopsis), and it may include details of directorial style that an outline omits.

for me the film treatment is one of the most important parts of the production as it allows you to set yourself guidelines and see where you are going. this is of course a long process in creating the treatment but once finished its sure to pay off in the long term.
I am currently in the process of producing my treatment and will be finished very shortly where i will putting it in to action with the filming plan also.
